Description
Safety Advisor Job in Saudi Arabia
Aramco holds a special place in the world’s energy sector. With the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any significant producer, we are the greatest hydrocarbon (oil and gas) producer in the world.
Our goal is to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world while also enhancing the value of Aramco to society. To that end, we have made major investments in infrastructure and technology.
Our nine decades of experience as responsible stewards of the vast hydrocarbon resources of the Kingdom have given us the ability to combine market discipline with a generations-spanning perspective on the future. We are headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have offices all over the world. This obligation has motivated us to provide major societal and economic advantages not only to the Kingdom but also to the many communities, economies, and nations that depend on the reliable and essential energy we provide.
We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.
Job Description
The Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safety department inside Saudi Aramco, is in need of a safety advisor. Together with centralized technical support and consulting services, we offer daily in-field occupational and process safety support to Saudi Aramco operations. Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (includes Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib are the locations of our field offices. All Saudi Aramco sites and divisions, which are spread out around the Kingdom, are served by LP through these offices.
As a Safety Advisor (Loss Prevention Advisor), your main responsibility is to offer daily assistance to company facilities and departments, assisting them in successfully implementing the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System expectations and associated programmes, and ensuring compliance with all company safety regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities

Enable the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System’s objectives and expectations, as well as their implementation. This includes creating related safety processes and taking part in self-evaluations.
To determine whether company and international codes and standards are being complied with, conduct field inspections or reviews, identify safety hazards, find solutions, and create workable and affordable corrective actions.
Work at height, isolation/LOTO, permits to work, hydrogen sulphide, restricted space entrance, and excavations are a few examples of crucial yet universal safety activities and control procedures that must be identified, evaluated, recommended, and followed up on.
Take part in safety research projects or activities that employ risk assessment and mitigation techniques, such as PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance checks, or insurance surveys.
During or after usual business hours, respond to emergency situations and incidents to offer support and counsel.
Take part in activities to control contractor safety on the jobsite (e.g., contractor selection and prequalification, monitoring of work site compliance, and measurement of performance).
Assist the reporting, categorizing, and investigation of all occurrences, as well as taking part in incident investigations, finding the underlying reasons, and making the appropriate suggestions to stop recurrence.
