A Network Security Engineer is presently needed at CoreCivic’s headquarters office in Brentwood, Tennessee. The Network Security Engineer is in charge of offering engineering assistance in the CoreCivic network’s planning, creating, implementing, and maintaining information security solutions. This entails creating intricate, secure networks and applications on an as-needed basis, based on CoreCivic’s business and technological requirements.
creates and maintains the email security environment, web protocols, virtual private network, and firewalls.
Conducts recurring independent security audits and aids the Governance and Compliance team in proving NIST 800-53, SOX, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance by providing reports, configuration settings, and supporting documentation.
helps with the design and testing of upcoming upgrades to the security infrastructure of CoreCivic.
provides rotating 24/7 on-call assistance.
It could be necessary to travel within the US.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field is required.
Three years of network experience including two years of experience in network security is required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
