The Role
Where you fit in:
The support and upkeep of the Treasury IT portfolio’s applications are under the purview of the Senior IT Operations Specialist. This includes access to several SaaS providers, Shell’s Treasury Management System (TMS) Quantum, SWIFT, market data, and more. Supporting front- and back-office Treasury activities as well as financial users is part of the function.
What’s the role?
You are accountable for the following:
As suitable for each application, providing application support for the TMS and associated apps includes small improvements like report development.
Work with internal infrastructure teams and software providers as necessary to analyse and fix application-related issues.
to take part in projects involving the applications for which you are an expert in requirements analysis, design, construction, testing, and transfer to support (SME).
Observe the procedures for managing events, issues, and changes effectively while adhering to SOX and IT control regulations.
Support for requests and requirements from internal and external audits.
What we need from you
We are interested in hearing from the following candidates:
Significant application support, maintenance, and system integration expertise is preferred, particularly in the finance industry, preferably Treasury.
It will be good to have knowledge of banking systems, Quantum, SWIFT, Zema, and Bloomberg.
being able to manage a diverse workload while supporting projects, business users, and upgrades
To comprehend business drivers and build IT solutions to meet them, work experience with top business executives is required.
the capacity to assume full responsibility with little assistance.
Outstanding communication abilities with the capacity to explain technical challenges to audiences of all levels.
Ability to operate under pressure with strict deadlines, occasionally working on the weekend.
Support/Maintenance skills
- Experience supporting SaaS solutions
- Application monitoring using Application Manager or Splunk
- Crystal reporting
- SQL Server
- .Net standards (Shell)
- 3rd Party API utilization. Restful API maintenance, Feature improvement and addition (Finastra)

- Nuget package management/knowledge
