Driver Job Role
- Verify that the allocated business vehicle is maintained in accordance with company policies.
- Install, remove, and swap out goods and client things as necessary.
- Make sure all fixed routes are in order by telling your boss about any changes.
- Use a mobile PDA as directed and in accordance with client procedures.
- Handle client requests that are urgent as instructed. Sometimes, this may entail putting in extra time.
- As soon as possible, send all client inquiries to the customer support team.
- Before leaving the depot, make sure your boss and you have finished your daily debrief.
- On occasion, when instructed, cover is provided for other depot employees. Instead of being on the road, this can entail spending time at the depot or doing laundry.
- On occasion, show new or experienced Service Drivers the routes.
- Verify that business policies and procedures are always followed.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and regulations while you do your job.
- Ensure that housekeeping is done to the highest degree so that the client and customer premises are safe and clean places to work.
- Communicate with your coworkers and establish productive working connections.
- Be a good representative of the client by always being kind, pleasant, and presentable.
- Any other acceptable assignment that your boss assigns.
