Overview of the role
Graphic Designer Jobs
Ensure that the IKEA instructions are followed by the graphic standards used in the stores.
What you will do
OPERATIONAL
The IKEA Trade Mark Manual and Company Policy document are likely predicted and carefully followed when installing IKEA trade names and word marks.
Plan and implement high-quality graphic solutions by promoting IKEA product characteristics and solutions throughout the whole in-store environment.
Daily and weekly checks are done to make sure that graphic displays are being implemented and used in accordance with uniform standards and translations (in keeping with IKEA’s visual identity). IKEA price and trademark, as stated in the IKEA Manual).
Follow the work brief process when creating and executing visual solutions to meet the stores’ established sales objectives and activity schedule. Collaborate with Sales and in-store Logistics.
In order to keep the shop up to IKEA standards and ensure that visitors’ perception of those locations is just as strong as it is within the store, implement visual communication (notice board, use of IKEA furnishings in Offices, signs & Posters) to all sales support areas and non-customers areas.
COMMERCIAL
Plan and carry out any modifications to visual solutions as instructed by the first GD in the shop so that they are consistent with the current commercial activity and calendar.
Deepen your knowledge of Graphic Com-In in relation to IKEA guides, tried-and-true methods, and recommendations (constantly using the toolbox for updates from IKEA Sweden), as specified by IKEA System B.V. (use yearly improvement plan set by Com-In Manager)
Learn about the actions of our rivals, the neighborhood market, and our clients (via communication, marketing advertisements, and trends in visual materials) in order to increase Ikea consumers’ familiarity with the shop.
Required skills Graphic Designer
- Must have skills in using sign making equipment and preferably experience in working with MacIntosh graphic software
