Description
Commissioning Engineer Jobs in Dubai
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering and at least four years of experience working with DEWA and FEWA in the United Arab Emirates. Acceptance with strong leadership, technical, and communication abilities to join our organisation. The candidate should work well with various technical disciplines and have a solid understanding of electrical systems, physical layout, and the theories and procedures of relevant technological fields. The candidate should be familiar with local customs and standards in the UAE, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities
- Testing of all substation components like CT, VT, Breakers (all types), Earth Switch, Isolators, Auxiliary Transformer, Power Transformer, scheme check, Low Voltage Distribution Board (AC & DC) individually.
- Testing of Transformer Stability & Sensitivity, Busbar Stability & Sensitivity and Overall Stability.
- Testing of Auxiliary relays, all types of backup protection relays.
- Testing of Main protection relays like distance protection, transformer protection, motor protection, cable differential protection.
- Knowledge about all types of latest test equipment.
Qualification
1. Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college program in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory.
2. Site experience – Mandatory.
3. DEWA / FEWA Approval – Mandatory
