Responsibilities
To ascertain specifications and identify requirements, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.

Materials made of wood, wood replacements, lightweight steel, and other materials can be measured, cut, shaped, assembled, and joined.
Lay subflooring, install floor beams, build foundations, assemble walls, and install roof systems.
Install and fit windows, doors, stairways, moldings, and hardware.
In mills, mines, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other organizations, maintain, repair, and renovate homes and wooden structures.
