Job Summary
Security Officer Jobs in Qatar
Take charge of daily CCTV and Access Control System operations in Corporate Offices, Staff Accommodation, and Qatar Distribution Center (QDC). Manage Physical Security operations, collaborating with suppliers to resolve faults promptly. Lead planning, execution, and timely completion of security-related tasks for optimal functionality.
Incorporate information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management, and other departments into the oversight and coordination of security initiatives.
Determine security requirements and initiatives. oversee a network of contractors and directors who look after the assets of the company.
Oversee and assess CCTV operations’ progress and productivity across all facilities. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures for Physical Security systems. Manage maintenance support policies for outstations and collaborate with QR Security Facilities team for incident handling within QR building facilities.
Evaluate installed CCTV cameras, recommend potential upgrades, and lead ongoing investigations to establish facts. Review and send investigation reports to management and stakeholders. Handle investigations related to CCTV findings and company access card misuse, ensuring alignment with defined objectives for corrective action plans resulting from audits.
Identify improvement areas, offer technical advice for enhancements, and coordinate with IT for site readiness and security-related matters. Ensure policy adherence by collaborating with the Outstation team for physical security systems. Manage suspicious incidents, escalate as necessary, and lead individual/group projects in CCTV operations.
Forge strong partnerships with internal departments like QR Corporate Security, Facilities Management, Customer Experience, HR Separations, and IT for seamless collaboration on projects and issue resolution within the CCTV operation center.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Experience in supervision of personnel and managing projects
- Aviation Security background/study is highly desirable.
- Certificate in computer applications MS Office
- Command of English language
- Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft office and Oracle
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Possess Qatari Driving License or successfully obtain one in 60 days
