In order to optimise the process of translating innovations into healthcare and related products (pharmaceuticals, vaccines, biologics, diagnostics, nutritional products, and vector control products) that can be lawfully marketed in developing nations, the Senior Programme Officer-Global Regulatory Affairs is in charge of creating and overseeing a portfolio of grants. In addition to working primarily with China’s National Medical Products Administration to expedite the development of medical products, the Senior Programme Officer will support global clinical or field trials and enable global product access through pre-qualification by the World Health Organisation and other regulatory operations. Additionally, the Senior Programme Officer will have a global technical and policy component.
For all activities to be integrated and coordinated with the foundation’s overall global health strategy, they must be able to create and carry out work plans and grants as well as collaborate closely with numerous external partners and internal colleagues. The officer will also play a major role in the formulation and implementation of the plan. These are the main duties mentioned below.
