Requirements
The candidate is a full-cycle graduate with a minimum of two years of prior work experience in comparable roles and with major international donors, including the World Bank, the European Commission, other regional Development Banks, etc. The candidate has a strong sense of responsibility and a drive to work in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum criterion is advanced English language proficiency. Proficiency in additional languages used by the European Commission, such as Spanish or French, will be advantageous.
Tasks
Business Development Officer Jobs in Italy
The officer will provide support on business development activities and implementation of international projects, particularly on:
- Research and selection of funding opportunities, including the analysis of public notices on different platforms and institutional sites and the study of procurement plans of the major international donors; preparation of the pipeline of the unit; organisation of business development meetings and drafting of the minutes;
- Preparation of expressions of interest and support to the preparation of international tenders, including drafting and updating of project references, supporting partnership development, systematising and updating of administrative documentation, supporting the identification and selection of experts, the collection and verification of documentary evidence and the preparation of the CVs according to donors’ templates, supporting the preparation of standard sections of technical offers and managing the requests for clarification;
- Supporting the management of projects under implementation, particularly the research for experts, including the assessment and preparation of CVs and the collection and verification of documentary evidence, and the logistics of events to be organised.
